BUT the article is dead on and beautifully written, as is the rest of your stuff. We actually use the phrase - BIBO here. Best in...Best out. Similar in idea. I love the break down you provide here.

Many of my current clients were either referred by or were folks I knew but did not place as a recruiter.  I would add to your list, if you want to be in business for a very long time, treat all candidates with grace and kindness.  The long term payout on that is priceless.  You never know where that one unplaced candidate will lead you.
